During the month of September 2022 the following articles:

1) “La communauté musulmane mérite mieux": le ministre de la Justice retire la reconnaissance de l'Exécutif des musulmans (“The Muslim community deserves better": the Minister of Justice withdraws the recognition of the Executive of the Muslims)

2) "Belgique : pays où personne ne peut toucher aux suspectés d’islamisme! (Belgium: country where no one can touch suspected of Islamism!)

3) La Belgique face aux religions : on a lu "Neutralité ou laïcité" de Nadia Geerts (Belgium facing religions: we read "Neutrality or secularism" by Nadia Geerts)

were the 3 main incidents which the European Network on Religion and Belief reported in the framework of Get The Trolls Out! project. Main issue in Belgian French-speaking media outlets continues to be anti-Muslim hate speech especially the recent remarks made by Minister of Justice. Therefore, ENORB filled complaints through emails and phone calls as we stand against Hate Speech and against discrimination.

We promoted our activities in the framework of Get The Trolls Out while attending ECRI Annual Seminar held by the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France as well as during our online event about the Rise of Global Islamophobia in the war on terror.
