The project

Equality for All in Malta is a Rights, Equality and Citizenship (REC)-funded project aiming to tackle the issue of underreporting as well as the lack of awareness on the functioning of the Equality body. This 2-year project will target Race and Ethnic Minorities and Religious Minority organisations, and the public in the following ways:

  1. Development and delivery of training to members of minorities, who may include victims of discrimination based on religion or belief, race and/or ethnic origin, and/or multiple discrimination, to empower them to enjoy their rights.

  2. Raising awareness on EU Directives and new national legislation related to discrimination based on religion or belief, race and/or ethnic origin, and/or multiple discrimination, on intercultural understanding and equal opportunities.

  3. Development of an outreach model targeting the grassroots, through local councils, to bring them on board in the fight against discrimination.

Under the project, ENORB is providing training material and contributing to training sessions at the EU level on anti-discrimination, targeting in total 120 civil society representatives. This project also involves collaboration with ENAR and the NGO Aditus. Click here to see the project page.
