On a part-time basis, Martina assists the team in its pro-active equalities outreach, research and communications functions. She is a former student at the University of Turin where she secured a BA in International Sciences, Development, and Cooperation, and an MA in European Legal Studies (Martina’s final thesis ‘Intersexuality and the Law: Current European Approaches’ secured top marks and was published). In addition, She also recently graduated with a Master’s in Gender and Politics Studies at the University of Rome.

Martina is passionate about anti-discrimination law, including LGBTQIA+ and gender issues. She currently collaborates with a strategic litigation association – Strali – and she is a member of the scientific committee of the Research Center for Women’s and Gender Studies – CIRSDe – at the University of Turin.
